The 16 Flavours
A Flavour is a recognisable pattern of strategic behaviour: a set of leanings that turn up together often enough to make a type. No Flavour is a prescription, and no Flavour is the good one. They are mirrors.
The diagnostic scores your organisation on 15 Ingredients, the traits it measures, and matches the profile to the nearest Flavour. The 54 questions are free and take about 18 minutes.
Conservative
Conservative organisations are built to keep what they have. They protect existing advantages, move with care and treat stability as an asset. Their strength is that they last. Their risk is a faster competitor that rewrites the rules while they defend the old ones.
Aggressive
Aggressive organisations are built to get there first. They move fast, push hard and read friction with competitors as proof they are doing something right. They are a thrill to work inside on a winning streak, and dangerous to stand near when the market turns.
Culture-Led
Culture-led organisations treat their values, people and shared identity as the main strategic asset. A decision passes through purpose before it passes through profit. That builds deep loyalty, and it can also blind the organisation to hard commercial facts. They attract missionaries and repel mercenaries.
Systems-Driven
Systems-driven organisations believe in well-designed process and architecture. They are disciplined, scalable and consistent, and they execute what others only plan. Their weakness is that a system tuned for known conditions can fail badly when conditions change in ways the system was never built for.
Independent
Independent Flavours do not fit the usual split of conservative against aggressive, or culture against system. Each runs on its own strategic logic. What they share is a clear answer to the question of what kind of organisation they are. That answer is harder to copy than a strategy or a structure. The five Flavours in this group each run on a different operating philosophy.
The Swarm
The Swarm operates through distributed action at scale.
The Laboratory
The Laboratory exists to discover what is true and then build on that truth.
The Wolf Pack
The Wolf Pack is bound by fierce loyalty, shared purpose, and coordinated aggression.
The Chameleon
The Chameleon survives by adaptation.
The Orchestra
The Orchestra harmonises diverse capabilities into something greater than the sum of parts.
The same pressure, sixteen answers
Five scenario vignettes. Each one is a single strategic pressure, with several Flavours answering it in their own words. The answers diverge, and that is the point: identity shapes behaviour more than the strategy documents do.

How the match is made, and what a near miss means.
The diagnostic scores fifteen Ingredients from 0 to 100. Each of the sixteen Flavours is a fixed profile in the same fifteen dimensions, and your match is the nearest profile by weighted distance. We do not publish the profile values or the weights. Publishing them would invite answers tuned to land on a Flavour instead of answers that are true.
A close second is common and worth reading. The results page shows the runner-up and how far behind it sits. When two Flavours are close, the persona carries traits of both, and the blind-spot list is usually where the two disagree.
