The Method — Twin Chat

Your organisation as a thinking partner.

Your persona in conversation mode. Ask it anything strategic and it answers in character: first-person-plural, grounded in what your organisation actually does. This page explains how.

What it does

The twin chat loads your persona into a conversation. The persona is the file the diagnostic produced: your organisation’s strategy, culture, and constraints, written out as a system prompt. The twin chat is one way to use it. Not a generic chatbot. Not our opinion.

You ask questions. The twin answers in first-person-plural, grounded in what the persona actually says. Strategic questions only — the twin will not help you write a press release or book a meeting. It is a thinking tool, not an assistant.

How it works

Four steps.

  • 01

    Take the diagnostic.

The twin is built from the persona. No persona, no twin. Forty-five questions, about 15 minutes.

  • 02

    Ask in plain language.

"Should we enter this market?" "How would we respond to this competitor?" "What kind of leader should we hire?" Nothing special, just a question.

  • 03

    The twin answers in character.

First-person-plural. "We would..." Grounded in what the persona says, not in generic advice.

  • 04

    Ask again. Push. Disagree.

The twin holds its character. If it stretches to answer, it tells you. That moment is usually more useful than the answer itself.

Question

Should we enter the Southeast Asia market?

Answer

Not now. Not until we have mapped the local distribution network and found at least two partners whose values match ours. Our pattern is to study the board before we move pieces. This board has too many unknowns.

When to use it

Why would you talk to it?

Five moments when the twin earns its place.

  • Rehearsing a decision.

Run a real choice past the twin before you commit. Hear how your organisation would actually argue both sides.

  • Onboarding a new executive.

Let them chat with the organisation’s decision DNA. Faster than a handbook. More honest than an interview.

  • Finding what you already know.

The twin often articulates the thing you have been trying to say but could not quite put into words.

  • Finding what you do not see.

The twin flags where it had to stretch. Those moments point at blind spots worth looking into.

  • Modelling another organisation.

Build a persona for a competitor or partner from public signals. Chat with their twin. See how they probably think.

What you get

Four things per answer.

  • 01

    Answers in your voice.

Not our opinion. Not a generic model. The organisation’s actual decision DNA, turned into conversation.

  • 02

    The reasoning behind each answer.

The twin shows which beliefs, postures, and tensions shaped each response. You can see why, not just what.

  • 03

    An alignment score per answer.

90 and above is textbook you. 60 to 89 is mostly you, with some adaptation. Below 60 means the organisation had to stretch, and that is the part to pay attention to.

  • 04

    Named blind spots.

Questions the twin could not answer cleanly are usually the questions to take most seriously. The twin marks them for you.
